How It Works

  1. Account Setup: Both the requester and the sender must have accounts with SarafiX. Once accounts are created and verified, the system saves their identification details and delivery preferences.

  2. Money Request: The requester logs into their account and uses the “Request Money” feature to send a request to their family or friends abroad. The amount and purpose of the transfer are specified in the request.

  3. Pre-Filled Details: The sender receives a notification and sees all the pre-filled information required for the transaction. This includes the recipient’s details, amount, and currency—saving time on inputting sensitive data again.

  4. Approval and Transfer: Once the sender approves the request, the money is sent, and the transfer is completed swiftly without the need for re-entering personal or financial details.

    5. Confirmation: Both parties receive notifications confirming the transaction, ensuring transparency and security throughout the process.

Additional Features:

  • Recurring Requests: Users can set up recurring requests for regular remittances, such as monthly family support or bill payments.

  • Tracking: Both the sender and recipient can track the status of the money request in real time through the SarafiX platform or mobile app.
